Finished version of the picture of Moria making it with his shadow clone. I changed his expression because I thought the “lip-biting” look was less goofy, even it it makes him look less like he’s enjoying himself and more like he’s realizing why Kuma always prefers to top.
I’ve been struggling to come up with good ideas for porn pictures. It’s not that the thought of drawing cartoon buttsex no longer appeals to me, but when I do a gooshy, full-colour picture, I want to push myself in terms of staging and pose and come up with something that helps me improve my abilities as an artist.
Or I can just draw something cheesy like this.
Poking around, trying to experiment more with line weight and draw more mushy stuff at the same time since it’s all I seemed to be in the mood to draw.
Well, it turned out like puke, but at least I learned a few new things about PS while working on it, like how lineart in PS looks a lot fainter with only transparency behind it than it does when you fill in the background, and what all those stupid little texture brushes might be capable of once I have more practice and a more coherent sense of vision.
I also learned that it’s really hard to do anything resembling an emotional picture when one of the characters has a 400-inch waistline.
This is…. done? I feel kind of hesitant to let myself use so much filter and fancy brush nonsense in a picture because I don’t want the results to look junky, and I’m not sure if more lines and little details in the ship would make it pop out more or just make the picture look cluttered. I’ll probably end up reuploading the file, but for now, here it is! A younger Gecko Moria with a rock-and-roll pirate ship and a few nameless crewmates. For his costume, I worked from the neckbelt and fur collar he was shown wearing at Roger’s execution and felt that a biker look would make sense; besides, the “aging rock star” vibe he gives off always made me think of Meat Loaf.
It’s possible that at some point in the next few years, we’ll get a canon look at Moria’s old crew/ship/style, but I decided not to worry about it, and added some generic-looking figures because it wouldn’t look right with a solitary captain. Considering that the last arc was almost 50 chapters long, I’ve got no idea when the “Straw Hats” will actually be setting their sights on Kaidou, and to what extent Moria’s past will play into things.
So this is finished. I’m not sure what Moria is saying, but it’s probably something along the lines of ” /whine “.
Fun trivia: the name Moria/Moriah (מוֹרִיָּה) is a Hebrew girl’s name, pronounced along the same lines as “Mariah”.
I’d meant to do a more realistic-style picture of the female Moria for a while, and finally got around to it after seeing Fleet’s latest spree of neat One Piece genderbends. I totally need to find more reasons to draw pictures of women with immense breasts.
More of this. I managed to stop myself from making the shading and background too dark and muddy. I don’t know how I feel about this one yet, but I do like the job I did on Kuma’s Selleck-grade body hair. (bear joke, ha ha)
Body hair is one of those things that I don’t really find arousing myself (kind of like testicles or the cut/uncut debate) but a male body needs it and I’ve had to develop methods of drawing it over time, as well as deciding how much of it someone should have. Moria doesn’t have loads when I draw him like this because it would make his lily-white body look even more disgusting, and because he already has stitches running down his front and I don’t want to make him look cluttered.
I kind of feel like I should have used a lighter line weight for his cravat.
It’s been too long since I did finished porn, (my sister complained that I needed to draw more testicles) and I felt like doing more dirty One Piece fanart, so here this is. As fun as shipping is, Moria strikes me as the kind of guy who’d just be too lazy to bother with romance at this point in his life. Also, he’s almost 23 feet tall, which probably makes dating awkward, even if there are people out there who like fat old guys with long ears.
I really regretted trying to integrate Doppelman into this picture when I started colouring it.
More One Piece fanart, more Moria fanart. I thought this was cute enough to put up here.
I have a nice figure of Gecko Moria on the shelf in the computer room, and whenever I feel depressed I just have to look at it and I start smiling again. What a weird-looking character!
After having to stop yesterday when my right arm began having pins and needles, (there was a lot of sawing involved for this) I finished up this year’s jack-o-lantern this morning. I’d always wanted to try one of those “a bunch of bats” lanterns that you always see on carving kits and in household magazines, and figured that with my latest cartoon-related interest, I finally had an excuse to do one. Along with being 22’ 7” in height and looking kind of like a fat zombie dracula, Gecko Moria likes manipulating his own shadow into a swarming bat attack. So here is my “Brick Bat” jack-o-lantern.
I was very proud to have only two lost pieces in this. You can see the pins holding one of the bats’ wings in place, and Moria’s left horn is being supported by a toothpick.
Reblogging my own lame ask blog art because of the time I put into rendering that effing headboard.
Finally got around to cleaning this up and adding some colour, yay! I wanted this to be a quicker and less effects-heavy picture.
Moria is the kind of guy who would just loaf around and let Doppelman take care of foreplay for him- that, or he wants to prove to Doflamingo that he really is the kinkiest man in the room. Canonically, Donny stands at about 10 feet tall, making him half Moria’s height, but considering that Moria can manipulate the shape of a person’s body by altering their shadow, I don’t think it’s a huge stretch to say that he can probably make himself smaller. Besides, I don’t think it’s canon that the characters in One Piece are having gay sex all the time, so it’s sort of a moot issue….
Time for some obnoxiously gooshy One Piece fanart of my favorite gooshy One Piece fanart character, dressed in a bitchin’ frock coat. This would have taken me much less time if I hadn’t kept adding more lace.
Something about foppish old men always cracks me up. They’re totally fabulous and totally unconcerned, (or oblivious) about how silly they might look.
I wanted to challenge myself again to draw porn in a quicker, more cartoony style, and failed miserably. But at least I’m getting better at using the airbrush tool, so that counts for something right?
Also, more monster sex.
