I felt like drawing the cartooniest Lisa.
Lisamor is one of my doppelganger’s toons; she is a precocious little prot paladin with a yaeba grin and a head full of rocks. Some have described her as being “cute spec”.

I might finally be getting better at doing backgrounds. In the least, I feel okay about this, and that’s a start!
Oh, Galen.
Galen San’jean, (the WoW version of) my small man elf. He’s from an artisan family, so he loves travelling the world, discovering new and beautiful animals, and killing them so their corpses can be made into fine footwear.
I’m trying to re-learn Photoshop after growing very comfortable and happy with Painttool Sai, so I tried to do as much of this as I could in PS, discovering in the process that I actually hate almost everything about cartooning and colouring in PS. I also discovered that I kind of like the way this looks without any shading, though I might try to use it as an excuse to practice backgrounds. Later.
Finished picture of Croesu. As far as orcs go, he’s kind of a sissy, and believes in the benefits of diplomacy, better known as “convincing people to do stuff with that durn fancy talk”. He’s also proud enough to argue that not running aimlessly into battle is part of his heritage as a son of the Bleeding Hollow.
Croesu, my beloved fruity orc lock and member of my “roster of toons with names that nobody on Vent can pronounce” (alongside Odileocta, Sanjean and Otthilde).
When I first rolled Cro back in BC, it took me three hours to realize that his hair was purple and not black. I’d say it was his destiny to be an aging swinger with a thing for manly men (and manly women), but considering who his player is, I’m sure he would have ended up like that anyways.
Trying to sketch Odi-moo before realizing that I simply don’t feel like drawing her armour.
Also, Lisa pulling the “shy” routine.
One Piece/WoW shenanigans that I don’t think I’ll bother finishing, just because I’d hate having to render three sets of armor in one lame crossover cartoon.
Sir Crocodile would be the best GM ever.
Lisamor, the pint-sized prot paladin, and her bff Crunchy.
I’m still not sure how on or off the mark the background is on this, as far as emulating the ‘Berubara’ style, but I’m sick of picking at it and don’t want to make it more detailed, since the character is the focus in this picture. I also gave up on figuring out how to draw a baby corehound in a shoujo style, even if Crunchy looks a bit out of place as a result. I did manage to fit at least one galaxy in each of Lisa’s luminous little blood elf eyes, though.
Finished commission for Nesseo. I kind of feel like I should have chosen a different color for the keg, in retrospect…
Commission for the always kind and friendly Ihu, of his orc warlock Kassamgo. The resolution is smaller than what I’d normally post at because of this.
I honestly have no idea what he’s doing here; Ihu asked for something erotic, so I drew the character sitting crosslegged and whipping out his pecker, then had to figure out what to do with his other hand. Considering that a lot of old witchcraft ‘recipes’ involved semen or other bodily fluids, it’s possible that he’s just doing magic…. that, or that incense he’s lighting is “crotch” scented.
I realized that I’d failed to draw any Pyro art in anticipation of the upcoming trailer. Then I realized that more than anything, I wanted to draw another cute Pyro in the gingham witch dress.
Made a finished version of the full-body sketch of Croesu that I’d drawn before. Just having him wearing a yukata is a bit of a cop-out, but I’d never imagined him as a guy who wears a particular distinct outfit; besides, orcs have kind of a Japonisme-inspired aesthetic to their dress and culture, along with the Mongol aesthetic. Besides, it also means that he can sit around on hot days with his stomach hanging out.
Buh… trying to draw Croesu and failing. I feel so gloomy and lethargic, like I don’t want to do anything right now.
I need my own minions.
So here is the finished version of that crossover picture of Pyro and Scout as a Warlock and (fire) Mage, respectively. I desperately wanted to do a picture of Pyro wearing the Dark Coven’s armor from ICC, because it was the cutest lock outfit ever, with its kewpie doll hat and gingham witch dress…. and I love the blue version of the Tirisfal Regalia, so I decided to use this as an excuse to do both. I made the figures a lot smaller in the hopes that it would take less time and be less agonizing than the Priest-Medic picture was.
For the convenience of my non-WoW followers, Warlocks and Mages are basically kissing cousins, possessing many analogous skills like being able to teleport or regain health/mana. Mages employ arcane magic in combat to summon elemental attacks ex nihilo and evade their enemies by baffling them with magical snares and dazzling enchantments. While Scout isn’t quite as cerebral as a mage should be, he’s just as fleet-footed and destructive as one, and is also equally prone to dying first when his escape buttons are on cooldown. Warlocks are students of the dark arts who practice a more corrosive version of arcane magic; they can control demonic slaves, decrepify their enemies with curses, or just burn fucking everything. Their health regeneration talents make them a little burlier than mages, which sort of makes up for their more limited “oh shit!” abilities.
With this one, I didn’t actually want the huge-ass explosion to be totally affecting the light and colour on the foreground figures or the whole picture would just be red and yellow- I might go back and see if it looks better or worse if I add the glow it should be casting on their costumes.
